'Entre' is a docufiction about the Entrepotbrug, a unique building above the Borneohaven in Amsterdam East where Dutch photographer Desiré van den Berg has lived in recent years. The book contains five years of images: the serpentine building that has a retro-futuristic character with its round windows and spiral staircases, captured in all seasons, with the changing skies above, but also insights into some of the lives behind the outer walls through still lifes of interiors and portraits of some of her neighbours. The result is a mysterious visual journey that intertwines the photographer's own story with that of those living around her, creating a personal portrait of a time and place.
